Trouble shooting some damp defects I came across these at the rear of a property in Vernon Place Canterbury!
What a joy to find!
As most will know Canterbury like most towns and cities were stripped of garden wall railings for melting down for the war effort! Not many of the originals remain but these escaped including some lovely original detailing!!
Unusual to find them at the rear of a building though!
