What does a Chartered Surveyor do?
A Chartered Surveyor assesses the condition of a property, identifies defects, explains what they mean and outlines the best course of action. As RICS regulated chartered surveyors, we provide independent reporting and advice.
What's the difference between a chartered surveyor and a surveyor?
Anyone can call themselves a surveyor, but only qualified members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors can use the title Chartered Surveyor. How do I choose a chartered surveyor in Kent?
Check that the firm is regulated by RICS, that they offer the right level of survey for your property, and that they have local experience of the building types in your area. Which survey do I need when buying a house?
