We were in Cliftonville just before Christmas in what must have been force 6 or 7 gales to look at a new commission with a Client.
A nice mix of concrete carbonation, brickwork faults and roofing repairs along with window defects!
We opted not go out on the roof as I think we may have found the quickest way back down! However, some near horizontal rain perfectly demonstrated what was wrong with the windows with leaks to the head, sill and the construction beneath!
It was cold (well freezing actually) but a great day to use the weather to highlight what the problems in the building were. Time enough now to schedule the necessary works, tender and get the project ready for a timely spring start!
