Resi over Retail!

We have recently brought back into use a redundant two storey maisonette in the middle of Deal.

Client owned the building but all of the accommodation could only be accessed from within the Ground Floor retail area.

It is within the Conservation area so we secured planning permission with a carefully detailed new entrance doorway coupled and nicking a slice of accommodation from the retail unit. This has enabled the two upper floors of accommodation to be brought back into use as a maisonette which along with some sneaky use of roof lights and vaulted ceiling has even provided the client with two bedrooms as well.

There was not a square wall in the building but hey, it all added to a challenging but interesting project. Needless to say with the space now generating an income the client is very happy.
